Purpose of this guide - Level of Skills to demonstrate during Qualifications Assessments Level of Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSB) to demonstrate during Qualifications Assessments This guide is intended to help learners understand the level of skills that they are required to demonstrate during qualifications assessments, at different level of qualifications and awards, from Level 5 qualifications, down to Entry-level qualifications at E3. This will support learners in their study and preparation for internal assessments of the qualifications, and also in preparing for any external assessments, as appropriate. The guide contains explanations of the terminology used in qualifications' assignment criteria and external assessments. The guide also contains the expectations of the level of skills, competence, and knowledge that learners are expected to demonstrate at each qualification level. This guide should be used in conjunction with the: • Qualification Specifications and Candidate handbooks • Assessment criteria • Assignment guidance for the particular qualification that the learner is undertaking
