Anyone who wants to work in care must be of good character, as defined by the Fit and Proper Person Employed, which is Regulation 19 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
Regulation 19 states that to be of good character, the person must have the character traits of honesty, trust, reliability and respect.
This is assessed by the honesty shown by the learner when completing assignments.
Honesty during assessments means no cheating and no deception, including using AI to write assignment answers, or copying the learning resources into answersheets and passing that off as your own knowledge when it is not.
