The Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) is knowledge-based and delivers 34 credits of Ofqual-accredited level 4 leadership and management learning and development for anyone working or aspiring to manage or lead any part of the health and social care sector. Employers, managers, trainers, can use this qualification as part of manager induction, their manager training and re-training, and ensuring all managers, team leaders and care coordinators are trained to be competent. The qualification units can also be used as standards for group training and manager supervision. The certificates of completion means that the employer can provide evidence in manager files for each completed learning activity. Individuals arranging their own learning and development can use this qualification to ensure they are qualified, up to date and competent for their job. The certificates of completion makes it easy for the learner to provide evidence of each completed learning and development activity.

Employers, managers, trainers, and care workers can use the Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) for training and re-training new managers and deputy managers, as well as part of their extended manager induction. 

This ensures that all managers, team leaders and care coordinators are trained in the full knowledge and understanding of the job role, before they have to move into the statutory role of demonstrating competence as a Registered Manager.

The qualification standards can also be used for manager supervision and setting targets. The learner gets two types of certificates (all included in the fees paid, so no extra payment needed): 

Course Provider certificates 

• Digital certificate of completion for each unit completed, issued by Courses For Jobs Ltd.

Awarding Body certificates

• Digital certificates, issued by the awarding body, Highfield Qualifications

• Hard copy certificates, issued by the awarding body, Highfield Qualifications. The original hard-copy certificates are sent to the learner by guaranteed registered mail, because it is the only original and cannot be lost.

On successful completion of this qualification, learners may wish to continue their development by undertaking one of the following qualifications:

• Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)  

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England)

After payment, the process of enrolment is as follows: 

• Courses For Jobs Ltd sends an email to the buyer asking them to provide the learner's names and email address for enrolment. 

• The buyer must reply to the email and confirm the learner's details, even if the buyer paid for themselves. 

• Once the buyer replies to the email request and provides the requested details, each learner gets a separate Learner Account on the Learning Management System (LMS), gets enrolled into the relevant learning resources. 

• After enrolment a login email is sent to each learner with instructions on how to use their unique express sign-in link to login and access their learning account.
