Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England) is the current competence-based Ofqual-recognised approved by CQC and Skills for Care as the qualification for Registered Managers for all care settings for adults in England.
The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England) is a Level 5 NVQ specialist health and social care qualification that has been updated to deliver leadership and managemnt learning as adapted to the unique requirements of health and social care organisations.
This current Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England) is 95 credits with a total qualification time (TQT) of 950 hours.
The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England) replaces the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) which was 80 credits with a TQT of 800 hours.
The old 80-credit qualfication, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF), was revised, updated, and replaced in 2023 to meet the requirements of the Leader in Adult Care national occupational standards (NOS) and ensuring that the qualification meets CQC requirements for the leadership and management knowledge and skills for a regulated care setting in England.

Since 2023, this current Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England) 95 credits qualification is the only version of the recognised qualification for new enrolments, as the old 80-credit qualifcation closed in 2023.

To complete the Highfield Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) (England), learners must achieve a minimum of 95 credits.
